If you want AU CR here are some things I am nearly always open to, if a character feels like a good fit! Tap me below and we can hash things out.
Already worked out a connection and need to get a vibe for the dynamic?

Exes
She's not good at dating. As such, she has any number of exes out there. It may or may not be her fault; if it was, it was probably because she was emotionally unavailable/didn't want to hang out with their friends/ghosted the whole situation (or some combination thereof).
She's kind of stubborn at heart and not the kind of person who wants to change things, so she's also the kind of person to put up with a situation until it becomes kind of rancid.
Short- and Long-term Lodgers
Liza has too large of a house for one person and rents rooms on the cheap despite her general aversion to people. It helps if you're a little weird. She has like 2-3 rooms for rent at any given time.
Fellow Academics
Liza teaches at upper levels—she's not really good with young children although teens are mostly fine. She had aspirations of making it in academia, but she's a little too nervous to really push for things that would be prestigious which has kind of kneecapped any of her tenure dreams. She's very smart in her field and a good writer, it's just that she's not particularly charismatic and is easily intimidated. Students who actually go to her office hours probably have a slightly better impression of her.

Specifically Interested In
ideally women over the age of 30 (or men if it was a while ago) (or if they gender transitioned i guess); probably people who are somewhat alienated from society themselves but are more outgoing than liza is. people willing to continue to meddle in her life and/or still just kind of hang out around her, awkwardly
